Jeannette has been recognized again for her Middle Grade writing, this time winning 1st Place in the 2019 PNWA Literary Contest for Middle Grade authors, for her story Kea Thief about a mischievous New Zealand parrot. Jeanette was also selected as a finalist in the 2016 PNWA Literary Contest among middle grade authors.
