Donna Reutzel Underwood
Group Thanatologist
Author of the murder mystery, The Support Group, Donna Reutzel Underwood is a registered nurse who has been involved in grief work for eighteen years. She is certified in thanatology by the Association of Death Education and Counseling and has volunteered at Colorado’s Grief Institute and Washington hospices.
In addition to her mystery novel series, Donna has authored three books to assist people grieving a loss, families and friends of people grieving a loss, and professionals working with people grieving a loss: Original Loss (out of print), Original Loss Revisited, and Grief Works.
The mother of two and grandmother of eight, she lives in Kennewick, Washington, with her husband, two dogs, and two cats.
Donna’s next book, The Divorce Group, is nearing completion. It is the second mystery novel part of a trilogy. It involves a divorce group attending the clinic and the dangers to some connected to the group.
